The building will be open in the Spring Semester of 2027. 

The housing application for Spring 2027 is expected to May 1, 2026. Students who complete the interest form will be notified a few days in advance and sent a link to the application once it opens.

• ​Residents must be registered students with a minimum of twelve (12) credit hours per semester. 
• Residents must be 18 years of age or older before moving in.

No. On-campus housing is limited and in high demand. While living on campus is not required, it is also not guaranteed and offered first to students who demonstrate the greatest need and those experiencing housing insecurity. All other housing applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. We highly recommend students submit their housing application as soon as the housing portal opens to increase their chances of obtaining a space and to avoid being placed on a waitlist.

Housing rates have not been finalized. However, they will be shared on the housing website when the housing application opens.

Financial aid may be used toward housing costs, depending upon individual award amounts. We encourage all students to complete the FAFSA or California Dream Act Application, and to meet with your Financial Aid advisor to determine how much aid you will be able to use toward your housing at BC.

The only animals permitted within Student Housing are Service Animals and Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). All Service and Emotional Support Animals must be fully registered with the Office of Disabled Student Programs and Services (DSPS) and the Leasing Office prior to being brought into the building. Required documentation must be submitted in advance and approved to ensure compliance with housing policies and applicable regulations. No animals may enter the premises before this registration and approval process is complete.

BC Student Housing will offer apartment-style living with shared spaces designed to support student success and community. Students will have the option to live in:

• Studio Apartments
• Two-Bedroom/1 Bathroom Apartments
• 4 Bedroom/2 Bathroom Apartments

​Yes, your apartment feature modern appliances, granite countertops, living room seating, twin xl bed, desk, chair, chest of drawers, and wardrobe to be used as closets.

All utilities (Water, sewer, electricity, and trash services) are included in your rent. Additionally, BC Student Housing will also provide Free WIFI and Laundry for your convenience. 

It depends on the floorplan selected. All studio apartments will be private. You will have the entire apartment to yourself. However, in the four-bedroom apartments, you will have a private bedroom, but you will share a living room, kitchen, and bathroom with up to 3 others in your suite. Feel free to reach out with questions before selecting a preferred floorplan. 

​At this time, BC Student Housing is designed for enrolled students only age 18 and above. Family housing is not available at this time.

We offer a free on-site laundry facility, a multi-purpose room, private study rooms on each floor, a computer lab, fully furnished apartments with kitchens in each unit, all within walking distance of class and major bus lines. We also provide student focused activities and various programs that are social and educational to foster engagement. 

​Students will be required to have a special campus permit designating that they are allowed to park in the residential lot closest to the residence hall. Since parking is limited, spaces will not be assigned and shall be used by residents on a first come first serve basis. If no space is available, residents may park in other student lots as designated by their parking permit.

Resident Assistants (RAs) are fellow students who work and live in the hall. Their role is to provide activities that help you meet and engage with other students on campus. RAs can also help residents solve minor issues like lock outs or roommate resolutions. They make sure that residents are not violating the policies while making sure the halls are a great place to live. We will open applications for persons who are interested in working as an RA in August 2026. To qualify, you must have completed 15 credit hours and have a 2.75 GPA. 

No, meal plans are not included in the housing payment.

Yes, guest policies will be shared in the "Resident Handbook" which outlines all housing policies and procedures.
